December means the holidays are officially here and Porsche West Broward invites you to come see all of the beautiful models we have in stock before year’s end. No matter your style, we have it for you at Porsche West Broward. In other news, Porsche officially unveiled the all-new 911 at the L.A. Car Show and it has us all excited for the future.
Looks matter, especially when it comes to the purchase of a brand new Porsche. The new 911 doesn’t disappoint with the evolutionary new design. Porsche started with the aesthetics used in past 911 models and added elements from their other Porsche models. Insiders refer to the all-new 911 as the 992. The nickname is based on the combination of traditional and modern features that make the car stand out.
Features from the Panamera Sedan
The 911 draws features from the Panamera sedan, both inside out. On the exterior, the new version borrows the continuous light bar which runs the width of the rear end. The interior is based largely on the Panamera sedan’s award-winning interior from 2016. Features Porsche enthusiasts can appreciate include the generous 10.9-inch widescreen infotainment display, complete with touch panel controls.
One feature in the all-new Porsche 911 that is an upgrade from all previous Porsche models is the cup holder mounted in the center console. The model does away with the traditional collapsible cup holders that fold away.
Feel the Power
The all-new 911 is outfitted with a powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. It produces an impressive 443 horsepower, a significant increase over the previous Carrera S. Buyers can choose between two-wheel and four-wheel drive, with the addition of a manual transmission to be added in the future.
With the power to do 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 191 mph (with the PDK transmission and Sport Chrono package) the new 911 Carrera S feeds the need for power that so many Porsche drivers want. The Carrera 4S with the same options does 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 mph.
Some of the new technology in the 911 includes a new Wet Mode system which detects when you’re driving on wet roads. The car adjusts the stability and traction controls accordingly. There’s also an optional night vision system that makes it easy to see animals or pedestrians in your path.
The all-new 911 is everything buyers expect from Porsche and more. Visit us at Porsche West Broward to learn more about the all-new Porsche 911 and take your favorite model for a test drive today.
